CHURCH HILL – Connie Spitzer, 49, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness.
Connie was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, James David Spitzer; paternal grandparents, John & Opal Spitzer; maternal grandparents, John & Maggie Skeens.
Connie is survived by her mother, Minnie Spitzer; sisters, Sherry Skelton, Christy Evans (Ritchie), Amy Cross (Kenny), and Nikki Stapleton (Bobby); brothers, Jason Spitzer and James Spitzer; special nephew, Jason Spitzer Jr.; several nieces & nephews.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 – 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Daniel Phillips officiating. The burial will follow in Howe’s Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the funeral home to assist the family with the funeral cost.
