CHURCH HILL- Dwight “Tommy” Stapleton, 69, passed away at his residence on Friday (July 24, 2015).He was a lifelong resident of Sullivan and Hawkins County where he was a member of Freedom Baptist Church and Clay Masonic Lodge # 386.He was preceded in death by his parents, Garland and Ruth Jennings Stapleton.He is survived by his wife, Sandra Seay Stapleton of Church Hill, sister, Linda Poore of Church Hill, niece, Amber Rockwell and husband, Jason, nephew, John White, three great nieces; Allison Rockwell, Sedona White, and Brennan White, two great nephews; Jaden Rockwell and Gaylon White, and a host of many friends.Calling hours are from 1 to 3:00 P.M. Sunday at Johnson Arrowood Funeral Home.Services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Andy Sensabaugh officiating. A masonic memorial service will be conducted by Clay Masonic Lodge # 386.Graveside services with Military Honors conducted by the Hawkins County Color Guard and Tennessee National Guard will be Sunday following the service at Church Hill Memory Gardens.Pallbearers will be family and friends.To leave a message for the Stapleton family, please visit us @www.jfhonline.com.Johnson Arrowood Funeral Home of Church Hill is serving the Stapleton family.
