Family, friends, and pallbearers are to meet at the funeral home by 10:15 AM Friday morning to go in procession.
CHURCH HILL – Ella Mae Crowder, 81, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2019 at Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was born on September 5, 1938 in Church Hill, Tn. She worked at Walmart for many years before retiring in 2000.
Ella was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Crowder; mother, Nannie Crawford; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Mary Ruth Crawford; sister, Edna Haynes; and nephew, Freddie Haynes.
She is survived by her daughter, Sondra Frazier (Terry); sons, David Lorenz and Terry Crowder; grandchildren, Anthony Crowder, Makalia and Luke Frazier; sisters-in-law, Nancy Simmons, Betty Crowder, and Lynda Short; brother and sister-in-law, Lee Crowder (Sue), special pet companions, Leah and Daisy; special little girl, ArieAlla Estes; many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor David Foster officiating. A graveside will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 11 at Church Hill Memory Gardens. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:15 AM Friday morning to go in procession.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Crowder, Luke Frazier, Harold Kaywood, Matt McMillan, Daniel Short, and Gabe Perkins.
