SURGOINSVILLE – Mildred S. Lee, 89, passed away Monday, (May 23, 2016) at her residence. Mildred was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and was a member of the Fudges Chapel United Methodist Church.She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Robert E. Lee , November 8, 2009, her parents; John R. and Clara Bell Fleenor Rowland, six brothers; Lawrence, Robert, Hubert, Conner, Calvin and Lyle Rowland.Survivors include her brother, Kyle Rowland of California and several nieces and nephews.Calling hours are from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home and any time at the Fellowship Hall of Fudges Chapel United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Greg Fletcher and Rev. Rick Begley officiating.Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 11:00 AM at the Fudges Chapel Cemetery.Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
