Tisha Housewright Walters CHURCH HILL- Tisha Housewright Walters, 42, passed away on Monday (December 9, 2013) at Brookhaven Nursing Home following an extended illness. She was born in Sullivan County and was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her father, Donald Eugene Housewright. She is survived by her husband, Mark Wade Walters, son, Roger Lynn Smith, Jr., daughter, Angel Rose Walters, mother, Rosemary Sams Akers, brothers, Daniel Walters, Rocky Walters, sisters, Donna Lawson, Jessica Srnold, granddaughter, Graceley Smith, several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are from 11 to 12:00 Noon Friday at Johnson Funeral Home of Church Hill and anytime at the home of her mother, Rosemary Sams Akers. Graveside services will be conducted following the visitation at Old Union Cemetery with Bro. Ed McLain officiating. Pallbearers will be her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help cover final expenses.
