CHURCH HILL – Walter Kenneth Patterson, 92, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018 at his residence.

Walter was a long-time resident of Yuma, Arizona & Hawkins County, TN. He attended Church of God of Church Hill. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during World War II. Walter would always go every chance he had to visit at Church Hill Healthcare & Rehab & Church Hill Senior Citizens Center.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Patterson; parents, Robert Glenn & Lorena Cradic Patterson; brothers, Garland Patterson, George Everett Patterson, & Larry Patterson; nephew, Chad Patterson.

Walter is survived by his nieces, Tonya Wahlbon (Keith) & Kay Walker (Eddie); nephew, Delmar Patterson (Teresa); great nieces, Rachel, Lora, & Natasha; great nephews, Jacob, Samuel, & Michael; along with many extended family members & special friends at Church Hill Healthcare & Rehab & Church Hill Senior Citizen Center.

Calling hours will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 7 at Goshen Valley Cemetery. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 AM.
