Betty Jane was also a Beautician practicing in the private shop in her home. She was also well known for her extraordinary country cooking especially her homemade banana pudding that she was famous for at many gatherings. Over the years, Betty Jane was a selfless caregiver caring for several aunts and others in time of need. Special thanks to the Smallwood girls who stayed with Mom many nights. Kay Elkins is a special angel among us that has loved and cared for both mom and dad. They both loved Kay so very much. She cared for mom several days a week treating her as if she were her own mother. Thomas and I are forever grateful for your loving kindness toward our sweet mother
