I am very very sorry for your loss and it will be a loss for many. I kept looking at Bobby's picture and could not forget His eyes. I realized we worked together at the Pavilion many years ago. He was a great person at that time and always nice to our staff and patients. He was also my daughter's principle and she also spoke highly of him. I guess this means he was always a great person-which is no surprise! Again I'm very sorry for your loss and pray for your peace.

I am not sure what to say in light of this difficult loss and about a man I admired and respected. He gave me the opportunity to work in Hawkins County and mentored me along the way, for which I will forever be thankful. I'm deeply sorry your family is experiencing this heartbreak. My heart goes out to each and everyone of you. My thoughts and prayers are with you always.

To your family I’m so sorry for your loss. Mr.Wines was my principal at SMS he was always nice and treated all of us the same he always had a smile on his face. I remember him and Mrs. Norris on stage at my 8th grade graduation and he was also there for our 8th grade prom. He was the best principal I ever had. I remember this one time my mom came to pick me up early and as she was waiting he thought she was a student and asked her if she had a hall pass it still makes me laugh. RIP Mr. Wines I know we will all see you again one day.

Sally, Bill, and family, We were so shocked and saddened to hear of Bud's untimely passing. We can't even begin to imagine the heartbreak you are all going through. Even though he was a grown man, we still remembered him as the little twinkled eyed 6 year old who lived next door. I can still see Michael standing at the front door pecking on the glass and yelling "Hey Bud! come play with me". Bud was always so kind and gentle with Michael. He probably didn't know it but that was the highlight of Michael's day when Bud took time to come inside to play. We hadn't seen him in many years but kept up with his accomplishments through newspaper articles and chance meetings with you all and Dorothy. We know all of you were so very proud of him and right fully so. He did a lot for the young people of our community and the betterment of education in Hawkins County. He leaves his daughters, family, friends and community a wonderful legacy of loving, caring, and sharing. His legacy will live for many years in the realm of education. Praying for GOD'S comfort for each of you at this time and in the coming weeks and months ahead. RIP BUD!! Ray, Judy, & Michael

Two years ago, Mr. Wines hired me to work as a SPED assistant at Volunteer High School. Because he saw my potential to shine in that position, I was able to fulfill a lifetime dream to work with children in a teaching environment. He was always kind to me, treated me with respect and acknowledged my existence whenever he saw me. I am truly blessed to have known him. I respected Mr. Wines as a principal and friend because he showed so much kindness and respect for me. I will never forget him. He was an amazing man with a blessed soul. Prayers for comfort for his family during this time of loss. RIP Bobby Wines— you will be sorely missed! My condolences are with you, family! God bless

To Mr. Wines family I’m so sorry for your loss. Mr. Wines was my principal at Surgoinsville Middle School many years ago. He was always nice and caring and made us all feel safe at school. I read a few months back that he was going to a different school to be principal there. I can’t believe he’s gone. Again I’m sorry for your loss. RIP Mr. Wines

My heart and prayers go out to the family. It is indeed a sad day as we lost a Great Man with a Heart of Gold, a good family man, he was so proud of the girls and their accomplishments, as I would see their posts on facebook. Bud was my favorite cousin, although we didn't see each other much, we tried to keep in touch periodically, I will truly miss him, but I will remember all of the good times we shared, the laughs, for Bud was one of a kind, a special person you couldn't help but love, a man who took great pride in helping others. I will always hold him dear to my heart. I Love You Bud, my cousin, my friend, Kenneth.
