Brenda Alvis Seal Church Hill, TN Brenda Alvis Seal, age 72, of Church Hill, TN went home to be with the Lord on April 12, 2014 at the Indian Path Hospital after a lengthy illness. Brenda was a member of Cedar's Chapel Baptist Church of Church Hill. She graduated in 1960 from Church Hill High School with honors and worked at the former Harper & Ladd Grocery Store in Church Hill, and the Tiny Giant Market in Mount Carmel before retiring from the Laurel Run Park in Church Hil where she never met a stranger. She was a devoted Christian wife, mother and grandmother. She loved listening to Blue Grass and Gospel music. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Kinkead in March 2014, father; Garrett Alvis, Jr. in January 2012. Her grandparents, Charlie and Alice Parker and Garrett and Annie Alvis. Brenda is survived by her husband of 51 years, Johnny Seal. Her daughter, Vicki Seal and husband Rick Wagner of Kingsport. Sons, Randy Seal and wife Mary Ann, Michael Seal and fiancée, Nerva Lee all of Church Hill. Grandchildren, Segan, Landon, Paul and Emily Seal, Creed Wagner and two step-grandchildren, Erica and Jonathan Wagner. Sister, Tina Marshall and husband Kenneth of Mount Carmel. Special niece, Donna Marshall, several other nieces and nephews. One uncle Bill Alvis of Boise, Idaho. Calling housr are from 5 to 7 PM Monday at the Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home of Church Hill. Funeral services will be conducted 7 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gary Gerhardt officiating.
