Church Hill, TN Claude "C.E." Arnold, age 83, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the Church Hill Health Care & Rehab following a brief illness. C.E. was a lifelong resident of Church Hill and was a member of the McPheeters Bend Baptist Church where he served as custodian for several years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Lelia Arnold, brother, Ronnie Arnold, sisters, Ruby Williams and Helen Mahoney. Survivors include his brother, Ronald Arnold and wife, Nina of Church Hill, sister, Wanda Ward of Ohio, and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are from 5 to 7 PM Monday at the Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home, and anytime at the residence of his brother, Ronald Arnold. Funeral services will be conducted 7 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mark Roberts and Rev. Larry Parrott officiating. Graveside services will be conducted 11 AM Tuesday at the McPheeters Bend Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:15 Am Tuesday to go in procession to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the McPheeters Bend Baptist Church or the McPheeters Bend Cemetery Fund. Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Arnold, Tracy Arnold, Randy Arnold, Ethan Roberts and the members of the McPheeters Bend Baptist Church Mens Sunday School Class.
