CHURCH HILL – Charlotte Lorraine Morrison, 58, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at her residence.

Lorraine was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and worked at Holliston Mills for several years. She was of the Baptist faith & was a member of Day Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed to fish and loved her dogs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Morrison; granddaughter, Jessie Morrison; infant brother, Daniel Fred Simpson; father, Charles Garfield Simpson; grandparents, Claude & Gracie Pratt and Floyd & Nine Simpson.

Lorraine is survived by her mother, Joyce Trent; step sons, Tim Morrison & Rusty Morrison; step daughter, Michelle Wallen; several grandchildren & great grandchildren; sister, Deborah Simpson Snapp; brother, Tim Simpson; nephews, Douglas, Charles, & Justin; special pet companions, Rosco & Carly.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ed McLain officiating. The burial will follow to Mt. Mitchell Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family & friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Mt. Mitchell Cemetery.
