My condolences to the entire DeWald family, I am sorry to hear of your loss. I was considering attending the services but have been battling an illness off and on for about 3 weeks.

To the family of Dan Dewald , Iam so sorry to hear of your father passing on . Dan give me my first job at the Sinclair station back in 1966 . Dan was the best boss anyone could ask for. I still have fond memories while working at the Sinclair station with Dan, Moe Hutson, Larry Stacy, Benny Lifford , and myself. Dan had a very wonderful and friendly family. May God be with all the family and friends during these sad times. Sincerely ; Clyde E Housewright

Thanks for the great times and memories. The fire departments in Eastern Hawkins County are a continuous action from Dan. He was a great member of the community and support that he has provided over the years will greatly be missed. One thing for certain is memories will live for ever. If there is anything I can do please let me know. Michael

Dan was a great man. And very patient. He never got irritated when I was a little girl and rode my bicycle to the Sinclair every day. Not even on the day I pulled my bike up to the air pump and proceeded to blow out my tire making a loud bang! He just ran out to be sure I was ok. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Due to my health I won’t be able to be with you but you will be in my thoughts as you lay your precious Daddy to rest.
