Elizabeth "Pat" Neil Morrison CHURCH HILL- Elizabeth “Pat” Neil Morrison, 74, passed away on Tuesday (April 15, 2014) at the Village at Allandale following an extended illness. She was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and a member of Higher Ground Baptist Church. As a young woman, she was a model for Nettie Lee. Pat was known as a poised woman of class, grace, and elegance as she was a selfless person who put others first. She loved children and animals and especially loved her grandchildren with all of her heart. She was loved by everyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Ray Morrison, Sr. in 2000, her parents, Howard and Ruby Housewright Winegar, her parents in law, Ernest and Mollie Gilbert Morrison, and her special granddog, Duke. She is survived by her son, Buddy Morrison, Jr. and his wife, Marla of Church Hill, three grandchildren, PFC Brandon Morrison, Pvt. Aaron Morrison, and Christopher Morrison, and several special cousins. Calling hours are from 1 to 3:00 P.M. Thursday at Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Phil Hoskins officiating. Graveside services will be conducted following the service Thursday at Church Hill Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Christopher Morrison, Eric Short, Todd Monroe, and Troy Purdue, Harry Torian, and Larry Kiser. Honorary bearers will be Otis Dorton, Brandon and Aaron Morrison.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 207 North Boone Street, Suite 1500, Johnson City, TN 37604.  Special thanks to the Village at Allandale and Caris hospice Nurses for their excellent care shown to Pat.
