Frankie E. Larkin KINGSPORT- Frankie E. Larkin, 84, passed away on Monday (April 28, 2014) at The Village at Allandale. She was a member of Mt. Carmel united Methodist Church since 1956 and also of the Fairview Chapter #80 Order of The Eastern Star since 1951. Mrs. Larkin was also a member of the Mt. Carmel Senior Citizens for many years as her health permitted. She worked at Indian Path Medical Center as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 15 ½ years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Larkin, parents, Walter “Tobe” James and Nellie Jane Fields, Infant son, Alvin Lynn Larkin, brother, Paul K. Fields. She is survived by her two sons, Dr. Donald W. Larkin, and Dale K. Larkin, both of Johnson City, daughter, Patsy Nunley and her favorite son-in-law, Levern Nunley of Church Hill, two brothers in law, Charles Larkin, Jr, Roy Larkin and his wife, Edith, grandchildren, Doni Hensley and her husband, Steve, Stacy Adams and her husband, Ben, Whitney Larkin and Jim Gale, great grandchildren, Caitlyn Hensley and Silas Adams. Calling hours are from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home of Church Hill. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Craig Needham officiating. Graveside services will be conducted following the service at Morningstar cemetery. Pallbearers will be her nephews. Honorary bearers will be Steve Hensley, Ben Adams, Jim Gale and member of the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. The family would like to extend appreciation and gratitude to the staff at The Village at Allandale and Amedysis hospice for all their wonderful care of Mrs. Larkin.
