Kelly and Matt- so sorry to hear about your dad. He was a great and loving man and will be missed. Always enjoyed talking to him….even in the grocery store. Much love and prayers to you both and your whole family.

We feel fortunate to have had Jerry as a friend. We grew up in the same neighborhood, but really only became friends in our adult lives. Jerry always had a smile for everyone. He will be greatly missed.

Jerry is a great example of true Christian character and wisdom. I had the wonderful privilege of serving with him on the Board of Directors for Tri-Cities Christian School for several years. He was a tremendous asset to school leadership during that time. My love and prayers go out to all the family!

My Dad ( Talmadge) met Jerry at Preston Place. They became dining buddies. They shared their love of the Lord and gospel music. When my brother would go into play the piano Dad would always have me go get Jerry. The short time Dad knew him he spoke very highly of him and called him friend. I’m sending my deepest condolences to his family and friends. Jerry you will be greatly missed, Sir.

Jerry had that special ability to make you feel welcome and special; you were always greeted with a hug and a smile that lit up his face. If you were speaking on the phone with him, he would usually end the conversation by asking if you needed anything. The world has lost a servant; my family has lost a dear friend. We love you and we will miss you. And I have to wonder out loud "who's gonna fill your shoes"??

I worked with Jerry at Eastman. He was loved and respected by everyone he came in contact with. I’m sure he’s with our Heavenly Father today. Prayers for his family.

Kelly, my husband Roger and I attend GSBC , Jerry was such a big part of that church, he served and greeted everyone with a smile , even when we know he had problems he still praised his Jesus, he was a true man of God and we are so thankful that we got to call him a friend for the short time we knew him. We will continue to pray for you and your family as we know it's hard to lose him but praises that he is now home and free of pain. God Bless. Roger and Regina Dye
