Lois Rasnic Bowen Church Hill, TN Mrs. Lois Rasnic Bowen, age 80, of Church Hill went home to be with her Heavenly Father, Sunday morning December, 2 2012 after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Bowen was born in Lee County, Virginia where she lived for several years before moving to Church Hill 20 years ago. She was a homemaker, and was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband; Junior Bowen in 2000. Parents; John and Lissie Pannell Rasnic, Sister and brother-in-law; Marcella and Paul Evans. Infant brother; William Thomas Rasnic. Survivors include 4 brothers; Eulice Rasnic, Jay Rasnic, Billy Ray Rasnic and wife, Jean and Dennis Rasnic and wife, Gail all of Duffield, VA. 3 sisters; Mildred Dishner of Duffield, VA, Betty Jo Compton of Church Hill, and Janice Jones and husband Wayne of Sophia, NC. Special friends; Sherrie and Frankie Elliott of Church Hill, and a host of relatives and friends. Calling hours are from 7 to 8 pm Monday at the Johnson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted 8 pm Monday in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Edens officiating. Graveside services will be conducted 11 am Tuesday at the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap, Virginia. serving as pallbearers will be, Marty Compton, Chris Howard, Michael Jones, Doug Jones, Charlie Cross, Frankie Elliott and Mark Ford.
