CHURCH HILL – Mary Ann Markham Greer, 82, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 12, 2022, at the home of her daughter Joanie Arnold.

Mary Ann was born to her parents, George Markham, and Mary Stella Winegar. She worked at AFG Kingsport for 20 + years taking on several different positions during that time. Her greatest passion was music, specifically playing the piano and teaching people of all ages to play piano. Mary Ann was of the Methodist faith and was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church of Church Hill until her health declined.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, George Markham, and Bill Markham.

Mary Ann is survived by her children, Alan Greer, Robbie Greer (Georgina), Joanie Arnold, and Michael Greer; brother, David Markham (Diana), as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at the Church Hill Memorial Gardens with Pastor Bob Ruth and Minister of music, Eddie Lumpkins officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 11:45 AM.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Brian, Michael, Robbie, Josh, Seth, and Scott Byerly.
