Mary Elizabeth (Cordle) Richardson, age 78, resident of Church Hill, went to be with her Heavenly Father early Sunday morning, November 6, 2022. Mary was born to David Barty Cordle and Maggie (Hughes) Cordle on May 12, 1944. She had one daughter, her best friend, Teresa Simpson Ennis, who passed away in 2018. She has two grandchildren also. Mary was very active in helping care for so many people throughout her employment and in her personal life, especially children, including the ones she took in to raise as her very own. She was a strong and amazing woman. She will forever be in our hearts and missed by all.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at McPheeters Bend Cemetery. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 AM. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
