Early Wednesday morning, Mary Alice Marlow moved to her Heavenly home after several years of Alzheimer disease. Born and raised in Lake City, TN, Mary Alice married her sweetheart, Arnold R. Marlow in 1942 making their home in Lake City and Kingsport aera for 55 years. Mary Alice moved to Rogersville to live with her daughter and caregiver, Kathy Wallen in 1999,Mary was a member of Liberty Baptist Church of Church Hill. She enjoyed serving and worshipping her Lord and Saviour and was well known for her wonderful cooking.She is preceded in death by her husband, Arnold R. Marlow ; parents, George & Mossie Bullock; brothers, Eddie and Walter Bullock; sister, Pauline & Raymond Utley.Survivors include her children, Kathy (Bobby) Wallen of Rogersville, TN, Lawrence Marlow, Lowell (Diane) Marlow of Lake City, TN, Harold (Laura) Marlow of Kingsport, TN. Grandchildren; Gene (Tammy) Marlow of Clinton, TN, Michelle (Dewayne) Bailey of Lake City, TN, Jessica (Shaun) Ray of Gibbs, TN, Greg (Tabatha) Marlow of Lake City, TN, Aundrea (Steve) Hasty, Newman, GA, Brad Wallen of Rogersville, TN. Great grandchildren; Brandon, Olivia, Blake (Sheree) Marlow, Melissa (Dustin) Babb, Reece Bailey, Gavin and Keenan Ray, Hannah and Emily Hasty, Justin and Julius Wallen. Great great grandchildren, Riley and Madison Babb. Brothers; Dee Bullock, Elbert (Jean) Bullock and Oris Bullock, sister-in-law; Doris Bullock and special cousin, Lorene Leinart.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Thursday at the Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home in Church Hill, TN and 5 to 7 pm Friday at the Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City, TN. Funeral services will be conducted 7 pm Friday at the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be conducted 10 am Saturday at the Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery in Lake City, TN . Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery by 9:45 am Saturday morning.The family extends a special thanks to caregivers, Melinda Light, Christine Hood, Phyllis Day and Janet Varney of Caris Hospice who cherished their “Lil Momma”.
