Norma Jeanette Wallace, resident of West Lane Street in Church Hill went to be with her Heavenly Father early Monday morning October 31, 2022.
Jeanette was a member of Nazarene faith. She loved nature and spent a great deal of her later years bird watching and attending to her garden. She also loved animals especially her faithful dog and companion, Bugsy. Jeanette loved spending time with her family and being mamaw to five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wallace, her father Jay Parker, her mother Edith Parker, and son-in-law Richard Gilliam.
She is survived by her sister Carolyn McGhee; brother Daryl Parker; son Tim Wallace; daughter Elisa Wallace; son-in-law Jerry Dempsey; daughter Cindy Lane and husband Allen Lane; granddaughter Erica Shelton and husband Nathan Shelton; grandsons Nicholas Dempsey, Jacob Lane, Jackson Lane, and Jonahus Lane; and great-grandsons Levi Shelton and Samuel Shelton; and great-granddaughter Ruby Shelton.
A graveside service will be held at Church Hill Memory Gardens at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 4, 2022. Anyone wishing to attend the Visiting with family and friends will take place after the service at Jeannette’s home.
