Ralph Mowell Blountville, TN Ralph Mowell, age 77, of Blountville, TN went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at the Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital and Medical Center. Ralph was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and most importantly servant of God. He was an active member and eacon of Springdale Baptist Church in Kingsport. He loved the outdoors and spent time outside whenever he could. He was retired from the A.F.G. in Kingsport, TN. He is preceded in death by his parents; Hale Mowell and Lucinda Ward Mowell. sister; Mable Feagins, Nina Moore and Joyce Jones. Brothers; Haskel, Herman and Michael Mowell. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Wanda Mowell, children; Amy Caudill and husband, Steve of Fairfield, Ohio; Eric Mowell and wife, Kim of Maryville, TN; and Emily Clendenin and husband, Steve of Blountville, TN. He is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, 2 sisters; Barbara Bass and Linda Barton, 2 brothers; Dallas and Larry Mowell , several sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours are from 9 to 11 AM Saturday at the Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home in Church Hill. Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Alan Buckles and Rev. Ron Bradshaw officiating. Burial will follow in the Mowell Cemetery with nephews serving as pallbearers.
