Roy J. Wilmoth Church Hill, TN Roy J. Wilmoth, age 71, od Church Hill passed away Thursday, March 27,2014 at the Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital & Medical Center following a brief illness. Mr. Wilmoth was a lifelong resident of Church Hill, and was reited from the A.F.G. Greenland Plant with 40 plus years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his wife; Margaret Wilmoth in 2008 and parents; J.P. & Etta Mae Wilmoth. Survivors include his son; Ray Wilmoth and wife, Georgia "Jo" of Church Hill, Daughter; Wanda "Susie" Wilmoth Light and husband, Fred of Kingsport. Grandchildren; Cody Light and April Blevins, Step-grandchildren; Heather Mason, Daniel Rowland, Joshua Brock and Ketera Fee and 5 great grandchildren. Special friend, Freda Colegate of Church Hill. Sister; Gladys Lawson of Kingsport, brothers; Bob Wilmoth and wife, Barbara of Kingsport, Wayne Wilmoth and wife, Rita of Mount Carmel and Gary Wilmoth and wife Terri of Church Hill. Several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 PM Saturday at the Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home, and anytime at the residence of his son, Ray Wilmoth. Funeral services will be conducted 7 PM Saturday at the Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home with Rev. David Napier officiating. Military graveside services will be conducted 1 PM at the Mt. Mitchell Church Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Hawkins County Color Guard and the Tennessee Army National Guard. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Mt. Mitchell Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 1605, Mount Carmel, TN 37645.
