SURGOINSVILLE – Sharon Case, 65, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Selective Specialty Hospital Tri-Cities after an extended illness.

Sharon was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and was of the Baptist faith. While in high school, she loved cheerleading and was elected Homecoming Queen her senior year. She retired at Eastman Chemical Company and was the Chairman of Surgoinsville Homecoming Committee for many years. She loved to play the piano, go camping, traveling, and watching her favorite birds, cardinals and chickadees.

She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Jaron Case.

Sharon is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 46 years, Billy Jack Case; daughter, Nikki Arnold (Shawn); grandson, Brett Arnold; siblings, Gretchen, Karen, and Darwin.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jimmy Manis officiating. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 18 at Hawkins County Memorial Gardens. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
