Solomon Reeser Hutson CHURCH HILL – Solomon Reeser Hutson, 86, passed away Friday (January 3, 2014) at Church Hill Health Care & Rehab Center following an extended illness. Mr. Hutson was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired employee of Holliston Mills. He was preceded in death by his son, Samuel Hutson, his parents, John Walter and Betty Mae Arnold Hutson, one sister, Kate Wright and brother, Carson Hutson. He is survived by one daughter, Barbara Scott Cannon, Jacksonville, FL; step daughter, Patty Brafton; two stepsons, Travis and Randall Ford; three grandsons, Samuel Lee Hutson, Coy Hutson and Scottie Cannon, two granddaughters, Asia and April Hutson, great grandson, Jackson Ford; one brother, James Hutson, Kingsport; four sisters, Blanche Sallet, Gertrude Hutson and Gladys Mowdy all of Kingsport, Ileene Way, Church Hill; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Johnson Funeral Home. Services will be conducted Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Andy Sensabaugh officiating. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at McPheeters Bend Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Donnie Hutson, Tommy Hutson, Billy Hutson, Thomas Hutson, J. R. Hagood and Eddie Morgan.
