She was greeted by her beloved husband, Everett, parents, R.C. and Mary Alice Jones Barrett, 8 brothers and sisters, and most of all she will be able to bask in the glory of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.She was a faithful member of Valley View Missionary Baptist Church for 63 years. She taught Sunday school and witnessed to numerous people. Her upmost desire was for all to be saved. She was a true prayer warrior.She is survived by her children, Mary Lyndell (Mike) Hobbs, Don (Peggy) Davidson, Janet (Bill) Fields, grandchildren, Joshua ( Techele) Davidson, Jessica Davidson, Nick ( Kim) Davidson, Matthew and Jason Fields, great grandchildren, Joshua, Andrew, Noah, and Levi, sisters, Burnadean Chadwick, Imogene Dawson, and Ann Sears, numerous family and special caregiver, Kathy Cradic. Calling hours are from 3 to 5:00 P.M. Sunday at Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home of Church Hill.Funeral services will be conducted 5:00 P.M. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jon Rogers officiating.Graveside Services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday at Valley View Missionary Baptist Church cemetery. Everyone wishing to attend is asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:15 A.M. to go in procession.Pallbearers will be family and friends.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Valley View Cemetery fund or a charity of your choice.Her children are thankful and blessed God gave them the gift of such a loving and inspirational mother.
