Lola Sizemore

KINGSPORT- Lola Walden Sizemore, 95, passed away on Sunday (July 26, 2014) at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born August 3, 1918 in Rogersville, TN and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Walden, second husband, Milum Sizemore, 7 children, 4 brothers, and her parents, W.E. and Rachel Winkle. She is survived by her sons, Johnny Walden and his wife, Christina, and Jackie Walden, daughters, Vivian Johnson and her husband, Donald, Sonja Davis, Janie Reis and her husband, Fritz, Wanda Mowell, Betty Luster and her husband, Dayton, and Mable Shanks, a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are from 10 to 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Albert Williams officiating. Graveside services will be conducted following the service at Dykes Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
