But have everlasting life” John 3:16CHURCH HILL – Mary Jennings Britton, 74, of Church Hill, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother met Jesus face to face on Saturday, (July 23, 2016) following an extended illness.Mary was a native of Ringgold, Georgia but had spent most of her life in Church Hill. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Church Hill and was a faithful member of the Susannah Wesley Circle and volunteered for multiple organizations. She was retired from First Utility District of Hawkins County with 30 years of service. Hobbies include card making, scrap booking and gardening.She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Audrey Jennings, brothers; Earl and Dale Jennings and sister, Agnes Sanders.She is survived by her loving family that includes her husband of 54 years, Richard Britton, of the home, daughter, Laura Fairchild and husband, Arnold, Rogersville; son, Randy Britton and wife Regina, Church Hill; grandchildren, Brooke Kampman and husband, Kyle; Brittany Crowder, Jordan and Austin Britton; great granddaughter, Cami Kampman who was her shining star, sister, Sue DeBusk and brother, Gary Jennings; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Carolyn Pleasant, Stella Conant, Linda Henard and niece, Phyllis Jennings.Calling hours are from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. Monday at the First United Methodist Church of Church Hill and anytime at the residence.Services will be conducted Monday at 6:00 P.M. at The First United Methodist Church with Pastor Josh Kilbourne and Rev. Ron Ramsey officiating. Music will be provided by the Church Choir featuring Eddie Lumpkins.
