CHURCH HILL – Elizabeth Louise (Taylor) Gilliam, 85, passed away on Monday Jan. 8, 2018 at her home following an extended illness.

Louise was a lifelong resident of Church Hill and was a member of Higher Ground Baptist Church. She retired from Alley’s Motor Company after 46 years as an accountant secretary.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Gilliam; parents, Dewolfe & Margaret Taylor; son, Chris Gilliam; and sister Loraine Lee.

Louise is survived by her son, Mike Gilliam (Connie); brothers, Elbert & Wayne Taylor; 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday Jan. 10, 2018 at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Ronnie Owens officiating. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018 at Elm Springs Cemetery. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:15 AM on Thursday to go in procession.

Family and friends will be pallbearers.
