Wayne Douglas Arnold

ROGERSVILLE – Wayne Douglas Arnold, 87, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023, at his residence.

Wayne was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Mount Carmel Freewill Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Arnold; parents, Luther and Ida Arnold; brothers, Carl Arnold and Pascal Arnold; son, Roy Arnold; granddaughters, Katie Arnold and Whitney Arnold.
Wayne is survived by his children, Wanda Morelock, Ida Jean Hale, Ronnie Arnold (Donna), and Randy Arnold (Paula); sisters, Oma Matthews and Dorothy Gardner; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild along with several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday, March 27, 2023, at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 28 at Mount Carmel Freewill Baptist Church. The graveside service will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Carl Arnold, Jr., Chris Arnold, Luther Arnold, Charlie Luster, Greg Brewer, Mike Luster, and Travis Sturn. Honorary Pallbearer will be Kyle Matthews.
