Kathryn Bombailey

CHURCH HILL – Kathryn W. Bombailey, 79, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 19, 2023.

Kathryn was born in Hawkins Co. TN, and was a lifelong resident of Kingsport, TN.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dewolfe and Mary Way; daughter, Lisa Bombailey; sister, Margaret Wheatley; and her brothers, Bob, Lyons, Bill, Don, William, Paul, and Junior Way.

Kathryn is survived by her son, Dennis Bombailey; sisters, Louise Guy, and Betty Hite; grandchildren, Amy, Jordan, Brooke, and Nicholas Bombailey; great-grandchildren, Riley and Ethan Absher; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, July 24, 2023, at Elm Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 11:45 AM.
