Patricia Lampkins

JOHNSON CITY – Patricia Ann Lampkins, 53, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Johnson City Medical Center.

Trish was born in Kingsport, TN on June 2, 1970. Trish was a proud United States Army Veteran. She retired from CSX Railroad as a yard master and had many titles during her time with the railroad. Trish loved riding her motorcycle and was an adventurer. She was a one-of-a-kind person and was a friend to everyone she met. She cared for others and loved them with her whole heart. You never seen Trish without a smile on her face, even on her hard days she was smiling and thinking of others.

Trish is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Dorothy Lampkins; and her grandparents on both sides.

She is survived by her fiancé, Chris Hamaker; aunts, Gladys Brice, and Sarah Miller “Aunt Appy”; as well as many special cousins, and dear friends.

A visitation will be held from 11:00-12:00 PM on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home in Church Hill. A graveside service will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Hammond Post #3/265. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home by 11:45 AM to go in procession.
