Caroline Marie Grizzle Powell

FORT BLACKMORE- Caroline Marie Grizzle Powell was called home on June 30, 2024, with her loving family by her side.

Caroline is preceded in death by her grandmother, Charlotte Kinkead Salling, grandfathers, Carl Grizzle and Ray Teemer Salling, Father-In-Law, David Powell, and Uncle Bill Salling.

Caroline is survived by her loving husband, Rhett Powell; Son, Zachary Krajewski, whom she adored, Parents, George Elmer Grizzle and Tracy Salling Grizzle; Aunt, Christel Salling; grandmother, Virginia Grizzle; In-Laws Lori and Charles Mellon; uncles, Tommy Grizzle (Michelle), Tony Grizzle (Robin), Steve Grizzle (Rosie), and Eugene Grizzle; Brother-In-Law, Brett Anderson (Brittany); as well as many cousins and dear friends.

The family would like to thank the staff and friends at Bristol Memorial Hospital and Clinch River Health services for their care and support during Caroline’s battle with cancer.
