Benjamin Fredrick "Freddy" Bussell

KINGSPORT – Benjamin “Freddy” Fredrick Bussell, 74, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at his residence following an extended illness.

Freddy was born in Hawkins Co., TN, lived most of his life in the Stanley Valley Community, and had spent the last 20 years in Kingsport. He was of the methodist faith and was a member at Valley Center UMC. Freddy retired from Eastman Chemical Company after 30+ years. He was a farmer and took care of the family farm for many years. He was also a big NASCAR fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin, and Sallie (Miller) Bussell; and his sister, Janie Karen Bussell.

Freddy is survived by his loving wife, Diane Bussell; brother, Joe Bussell; niece, Kayla Fielder; and his nephews, Travis and Josh Bussell.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home in Church Hill. The memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Carol Alley and Rev. Greg Fletcher officiating. Bro. Benny Bishop will be speaking.
