-I just found out about Allen’s passing and I hate that I missed the visitation. Please know that my thoughts are with all of you. Allen was a good man and will be terribly missed!

Allen was always full of excitement, humor, and love. He was a great man and an amazing friend. I looked up to him as a role model of someone who you want to be in your family. He was always the nicest guy around, cracking jokes all the time. My dad always told me he thought of Allen like a brother- even though he was my dads uncle- Allen will be missed tremendously by all his family and friends. When I would drive in he would always stop by and tell me about his grandkids and how much he loved everyone. We also would always joke about the doctors telling him he needed to cut back on the bread and it was more of an inside joke between me and him. He was pure in the soul and I will miss him dearly.
