TENNESSEE – Anita Sue Horne, 61, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 24, 2022, following a brief illness.
Anita was a lifelong resident of Hawkins Co. TN; she was a homemaker most of her life and was employed at Holliston Mills and AFG Industries as a security guard for several years. She enjoyed cooking, loved going to the races, and loved her fur baby Bruiser.
Anita is preceded in death by her parents A.C. and Athalea Minor; brother, Wayne Minor; and her sisters, Brenda Gray and Charlotte Minor.
She is survived by her husband, Gordon Horne; children, Shena Buckles (Chad), Lance Stapleton (Anna), and Amanda Horne (Reggie); grandchildren, Shae, Michal, Sydney, and Brycen; brother, Gary Minor (Donna); as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Anita’s wishes were to be cremated and there will be no services at this time. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
