Church Hill, TN August Earl Bailey, age 86, of Church Hill passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the Church Hill Health Care and Rehab following an extended illness. Mr. Bailey was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County, and was a retired printer from the United States Government. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He is preceded in death by his wife, Stella Bailey, Parents, Kermit & Connie Cradic Bailey, brothers, Edward Bailey and Norman Bailey. Survivors include his sister, Beulah Arnold of Church Hill, sister-in-law, Dorothy Bailey of Church Hill, nieces, Sherry Jean Eidson and Kelly Ann Eidson of Church Hill. Calling hours are from 10 to 11:30 AM Friday at the Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted 11:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. Military Graveside services will be conducted 1 PM Friday at the Mountain Home National Cemetery with military rites conducted by the American Legion Post # 3/265.
