KINGSPORT – Barbara Ann Fields, 77, passed away Sunday (March 1, 2015) at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following a brief illness.Barbara was a lifelong resident of Hawkins and Sullivan counties and was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Church Hill. She attended the Kingsport School of Business and was a supervisor in the Holston Valley Hospital business office during the 1980’s.She is preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Fields, her parents, Carter and Edna Feagins Fields and daughter Cheryl Russell Bratton.Survivors include her daughter, Sonya Russell Christian and husband, Neal, Kingsport; three grandchildren, Mark Newland, Jessica Warrick and Josh Hood; five great grandchildren, Ethan Warrick, Kaden Warrick, Cole Hood, Maddox Hood and Ryan Newland.Calling hours are from 11:00 to 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home.Services will be conducted Wednesday at 100 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Mitch Russell officiating. Interment will follow in Church Hill Memory Gardens.Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home is serving the Fields family.
