KINGSPORT – Betty Burke, 78, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018 at The Wexford House.
Betty was a native of Clay County, TN and spent most of her life in Sullivan & Hawkins County. She was a member of Barton’s Chapel.
She is preceded in death by her second husband, Gerald Linkous, third husband, Sam Burke, daughter, Deborah Garrish, parents, James Paul & Estelene Barlow Neeley, brothers, Charles, Jimmy & Tommy Neeley.
Betty is survived by her sons, Ralph Houseright Jr., Jamie Linkous, and Gerald Linkous II, daughters, Tammy Ingram & Sherry Hughes, 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 PM on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018 at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tim Nelson officiating. The burial will follow the funeral service to Church Hill Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
