Church Hill, TNBilly “Bill” Wade Hood, age 70. Of Church Hill was called to be with the lord on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 with family by his side. He was born in Kingsport, TN and lived in (Church Hill) most of his life. He was a loving husband, dad, and papaw. He Retired From Eastman Chemical Company. He was a big fan of NASCAR and country music. He loved playing with his grand kids. He was a Baptist Faith.He was preceded in death by his son; Mark Hood, Parents Hobert and Dora Hood, Sister Genevia Orfield and Grandparents.Billy was survived by his wife of 23 years Christine Hood, Three Sons Allen Hood, Chris Lane and wife, Kim, and Eric Lane. Two daughters Michelle Lane, Angie Woolard husband Patrick. Grandkids Nevaeh, Tristen, Madison, Haylee, Aiden, and Jessica. Great grandkids Destiney and Mikenzie. Two Brothers Larry Hood and wife Judy, Johnny Hood wife Pam. Mother-in-Law Edna Greene husband Jerry. Sister-in –law Janice Breeding. Special Cousin Joanne Jones. Special Friend Melba Powell and son Chris. Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Family and Friends Serving as Pallbearers.Calling hours are from 5 to 7 pm Thursday at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home and anytime at the residence, 1308 Goshen Valley Road, Church Hill.Funeral Services will be conducted 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home Rev. Gary Gerhardt Officiating. Graveside services will be conducted 11:30 Friday at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers Will be Family and Friends.
