Billie jean was one of the kids in the neighborhood who became one of my closest friends growing up. In high school at church hill we had to wait for our bus to get us after school on their second run. So we would walk down to wileys little gold mine and buy candy. After graduation her dad gave her a Volkswagen. She took me on a trip to food city. She drove that car like she was the boss!! We baby sitted for her sister carol and tommy dykes. Had a good time. When I stayed all night I slept with her aunt Etta who had blue hair. Popular in that day. So many good memories. Billie Jean has a special place in my childhood heart that will never be forgotten. ❤️
