GRAY – Billy Overbey, 80, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at his residence.
Billy was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He retired at Quebecor and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Eula Madge Overbey.
Billy is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Deborah Grimes Overbey; children, Davy Overbey, Pamela Troxel (James), Patty Overbey, Del Stewart, Sarah Stewart, Jonathon Stewart, and Bobby Overbey; several grandchildren, and great grandchildren, brother, Jackie Overbey (Kathy); several nieces and nephews.
A graveside will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Church Hill Memory Gardens. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:45 PM.
