Brenda was a loving, soft-spoken, kind-hearted lady. I enjoyed having her as a teacher and later on teaching with her in Blue Primary. Adrian, Alan, Aaron, Kristen and the rest of the family... I am so very sorry for your loss. Love and prayers, Tara

I am so sorry for your loss. Brenda was like a 2nd mom to me. She took such great care of my daughter Alex when she was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 3rd grade. I didn't have to worry while she was in Brenda's care. I also loved that we shared the same birth date. I know how much she loved and enjoyed her family. She will truly be missed! My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Fifty years ago Brenda became a cherished member of our expanding Seaver family, and her name has remained prominent on our family's list of enduring blessings. Brenda became another wonderful in-law to me; but she was so much more than that. My parents loved her because of her devotion to, and love for, their son Winton. This undying love was best exemplified as Brenda faithfully cared for husband Winton during his lengthy battle with Lou Gehrig's disease. Brenda was so quiet, humble, and unpretentious that her remarkable 41-year teaching career might go unheralded, were it not for the testimonials of hundreds of former students who fondly remember her to this day. But the most convincing proof of Brenda's success as a teacher is the evidence reflected in the exemplary lives of her three children: Aaron, Adrian, and Alan. These three sons will always be Brenda and Winton's most enduring legacy. And though both Brenda and Winton left us much too soon, I can still sense their presence each time I am with these three wonderful nephews. -- Robert

Brenda was truly l joyful light to all those who she met. She always smiles every Sunday to everyone. So many times she would stop me to offer uplifting words of encouragement. She was faithful to her church and loved her family so much. She will be missed by all, but she is beyond any more sickness or pain. Love you all and praying for strength, peace and comfort.

We are so sorry for the loss of your mother! She was a wonderful person! Our daughter Adrienne had her in 3rd grade. She loved her! She always remembered Adrienne any time we saw our out in town or in a restaurant. She always came up to her to talk to her and called her by name. After Adrienne got married she moved to Alabama and anytime I ran into her after that she always asked me how Adrienne was doing in Alabama. I know you will miss her!

My introduction to elementary education was with Mrs Seaver in first grade at CHES. Going from being home with mom to being with a group of kids my age with one adult every school day was quite a transition. I don’t think I could have had a kinder or better teacher to start my journey with. She was unforgettable. My condolences to the family.

Aaron, Adrian, and Allen - I don't have the words to express how sorry I am for the loss of your Mother. She was so kind every time I would see her. We would talk about Winton and how good he could play the piano and sing. I know they are rejoicing in Heaven. I wish I could be there for you, but this virus has shut everything down. You have been in my thoughts and prayers, and will continue to be. All of you guys are such good men. You had great parents that took you to Church and taught you about God. I Loved both of them, and I love you all too. Brenda does not have to suffer anymore. You will be reunited again soon. Until then cherish the many memories you have of both parents. I will be praying for all of you. Love, Patricia Moore

Covid19 means a closed service, which is somewhat sad . . . on the surface. But only on the surface. Brenda's arrival in Heaven was VERY public! On this side, we can only imagine what what she is experiencing, but the Bible assures us is AWESOME!!! Hold to and ponder on this blessed truth. "What a day that will be . . .

Blessed to have such a best friend and Hope your mom is in Heaven and you stay strong we are all one family in this universe and we are all with you.

Brenda was a fantastic teacher who taught both my girls during Church Hill Elementary Schools multi- age program years. So yes we had the privilege of her knowledge and love for a total of five years. I also had the privilege of being a coworker with her. She loved her school kids so much. She will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Seaver was my favorite teacher at Church Hill Elementary (4th Grade - 1984-1985). I think I was her little pet, but she still wouldn't let me get away with a darn thing! She was amazing and I'll always remember her. The family is in my thoughts.
