Church Hill, TN Carolyn Sue Hartgrove Christian born March 21, 1951 went to be with the Lord on July 7, 2014 at her residence. She was a resident of Hawkins County, and had lived in Ohio for a short period of time before moving back to Hawkins County. She was a good Christian woman and outstanding wife and mother. She will be missed dearly and always remembered. She is preceded in death by her son; Kevin Dean Christian, Mother; Mary Dykes Housewright. Survivors include her husband; Dean Byrd Christian, Daughter; Wendy Carole Christian Barrett. Step-son; Jeffrey Byrd Christian and wife Sherri. Father; Herbert Hartgrove, Sisters, Vicki Mullins, Christie Hawling, Terrye Thompson. One brother; Miles Hartgrove, grandchildren; Hailey and Hannah Barrett, Caleb, Creed and Cason Christian. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Graveside services will be conducted 10 AM Thursday at the Church Hill Memory Gardens. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 9:45 AM Thursday morning.
