CHURCH HILL – Carolyn Ramey, 72, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Carolyn was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved her children and grandchildren dearly.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Howe Ramey, Jr.; parents, Winford Leslie and Maxine Pruitt; brothers Johnny and Bill Pruitt.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Darrin Ramey, Travis Ramey (Tracy), Paula Reynolds (Jon), Chad Ramey (Stacey); grandchildren, Kayla, Brandon (Lisa), Daniel (Hazel), Kristen, Madison, Blake, Tyler, and Taylor, Dustin, Trevor, Addy, Ava, Kaylee, and Karly; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Church Hill Memory Gardens with Rev. Andy Sensabaugh officiating.
