Carolyn Rines Johnson Funeral Home Church Hill, TN 37642 SURGOINSVILLE – Carolyn Ann Lampkins Rines, 54 of Surgoinsville, passed away Friday (December 28, 2012) at her residence. Mrs. Rines was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and was of the Baptist faith. She was a retired employee of the Kingsport Press. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gale Rines, her parents, James Edward and Dorothy Mae Helton Lampkins and step father, Mack Crawford. She is survived by one brother & sister-in-law, Darrell and Kathy Crawford, Hampton, TN; four sisters and brothers- in-law, Darlene and Gary Houle, Church Hill, Connie Bush, Nickelsville, VA; Mary Crawford, Gate City, VA; Vicki and Steve Roberts, Mount Carmel; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are from 11 to 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Johnson Funeral Home and anytime at the home of her sister Vicki Roberts, 123 Locust Street, Mount Carmel. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Roy Simpson officiating. Burial will follow in the Barrett Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Roberts, Darrell Crawford, Gary Houle, Dakota Houle and David John Pierce.
