ROGERSVILLE – Celeste Simpson Wagner, 77, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Wagner was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County, and attended the Fairview Holiness Church. She worked as a nursing assistant at Church Hill Health Care & Rehab for ten and a half years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Eugene Wagner, daughter, Rhonda Maness; son, Ronald Wagner II; parents, Lon & Letha Cox Simpson; brothers, John Simpson, D.I. Simpson, Roy Simpson, & Herb Simpson; sister, Dorothy Simpson.

Survivors include her son, Randy L. Wagner (Tanya); grandchildren, Ronnie Littleton (Brittany), Robyn Ray (Josh), Dustin Littleton (Nikki), Ryan Wagner, and Russell Wagner; 8 great grandchildren, sister Vivian Mullins and brother Tim Simpson (Elaine).

Calling hours will be from 12:00 – 2:00 PM on Monday, October 1, 2018 at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Thomas Edwards officiating. The burial will follow in Bowser Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a ministry or a church of your choice in Mrs. Wagner’s memory.
