CHURCH HILL – Creasy Phipps, 95, passed away Sunday (April 3, 2016) at her home following an apparent heart attack.She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, R. Z. Phipps and one son, Donnie Phipps and great granddaughter Riley.Survivors include her daughter, Elmira Gordon and husband, Ken; two sons, Quentin Phipps and Murphy Phipps and wife, Wynn; three grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; one sister, Ruby Patterson and husband, Hugh; one brother, Herman Arnold and wife, Beulah; sister-in-law, Shirley Arnold; several nieces and nephews.Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home and anytime at the residence.Services will be conducted Wednesday at 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Regina Shelton and Pastor Cindy Munsey officiating.Graveside services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at Goshen Valley Cemetery. Those desiring to attend should meet at the funeral home at 10:15 A.
