Daniel, I can't believe I am leaving you a tribute. You started out being the husband of my daughter's friend. But from the moment I met you I felt like you were a lifelong friend, as if I had always known you. Through the years you proved yourself to be one of the kindest, dearest men I have ever known. I know that if I had needed it, you would have given me the shirt off your back. You stood strong through adversities, taking on the responsibility of your brother-in-law's children when they were left parentless. You diligently worked to provide for your family. And you loved the Lord, Jesus Christ. I love you like a son. You will forever be in my heart. Enjoy strolling through heaven with Jesus and your loved ones that are there with you. Maybe you will be at the gates to welcome me when I flee the bounds of this earth. What an honor that would be.
