Darrell Ray Chappell Church Hill, TN Darrell Ray Chappell 85, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday Feb 21, he died peacefully at home. He was born in Nashville, TN on February 27th 1930; he was the son of the late Herbert Lee and Willie Chappell. Other than his parents Darrell was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Jean Chappell, brothers, John Lee, Lawrence, Freeman, Bob and Herbert Lee Jr. He is survived by his sister in law Kay Chappell, brother in law Gerry Free (wife Glen) and many nieces and nephews. Darrell was a Veteran of the U.S. Airforce. He retired from a book printing company in Gaithersburg, Maryland and spent his retirement years with his wife in Daytona Beach, FL.A private celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016.
