I knew David back in high school and I saw him and his wife at Applebee's a few years back. He was still the same sweet guy, full of smiles and twinkling eyes. He seemed really happy, what more could any of us ask for? I'm sorry for your loss, I know he will be missed.

We were good friends with David. We had some good times. He could always make you laugh and a dood time better. I'm so sorry for your great loss. Praying for you and your whole family for peace and comfort. Was just thinking about the last night I saw him. It was after the AC/DC tribute band in Pennington Gap. Who was to know that was only a few months ago and now he's gone. Life is short. Hold onto your family and cherish your memories. Much love to you and your family. God Bless You.

Sending prayers for the family so sorry for your loss. I've known David for many years we worked together for 12 of those and he was a kind gentle soul who loved to laugh and make others laugh as well. He will be greatly missed by all. So sorry to read of Dave's passing. Before my retirement in 2015 I used to see Dave quite often while making deliveries to Hutchinson Sealing. He was always a great guy. Willing to help or find someone who could. I've thought of him often.

My prayers are with you all.... My heart cries as well!!! Dave genuinely loved life everyday, he tried to bring a smile to everyone he met and I don't remember anyone ever being a stranger to him, he was as open and giving to all. I know life has s way of getting so busy that just keeping up with family is hard and I am truly sorry that we had not visited more.... We have shared many things without realizing.... Out children grew up together, we have celebrated many of life's gifts together about birthday, marriages, grandchildren..... Dave was there always a heart felt grin and you got this attitude! We miss you and pray for comfort and peace to be with all who are struggling to say good bye but especially to Many his wife and all of his children and grandchildren. With love and sorrow, we are hear for anything you may need. The Holt Family

Dave was a true friend to me and my family. He had the uncanny ability to make you laugh no matter what kind of mood you were in. He would give you the shirt off of his back and didn't think twice about it. Dave was the kind of man who put family first. He never let trivial things get in the way of what truly mattered. the first time I met Dave I was 14 years old, they had just moved in next door I was jumping my bike off of the snow drifts into his yard. When he came outside I thought he was going to yell at me to get out of his yard. instead he came out to cheer me on. Over the years we became great friends, our families stayed close even after we moved away. Every time I would go back to TN I would always stop in and see Dave. He always had that Smile that was so contagious. Anastasia has that same smile. I have so many great memories of the time we spent together. His memory will live on with his kids, grandkid's, and hundreds of friends that had the pleasure of knowing Dave. Farwell my Friend see you on the other side.

Dear Rivers family, I am so sorry to hear of David's passing. He and I worked together at NI Industries, and even rode to work together for a while. He was so positive, we laughed and talked about everything in the world. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
